A common criticism of the Canadian carbon tax was that it acted as a "tax on everything", since carbon is embedded throughout the supply chain, the tax was expected to raise prices broadly. This project estimates the causal effect of the carbon tax on food prices in Canada.

Retinal images can reveal serious eye conditions, but access to specialist diagnosis is limited globally. This project fine-tunes a convolutional neural network to classify photographs into four categories: cataract, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and normal.
